It's the summer of sport. Let's get moving. Hi, my name's Natalie. And today, we're gonna uncover the importance of heart rate zone training. Summer 2024 is all about sports. We're thinking Olympics, Para Olympics, the Euros, Wimbledon. There is something for everyone. So how do these athletes get into their peak performance? Well, one of their focuses is heart rate zone training. What is heart rate one training? I hear you cry. Well, there are five zones you're gonna be thinking about. So one is where we're gonna be performing warm ups and cool downs. Think light, easy work, gentle stretching. Zone two is where we're gonna live in that fat burning, that endurance based zone. So your workouts are gonna be for longer. Heart rate zone three is where we're thinking about moderate exertion. So thinking about cardio vascular fitness, all about that heart health. Heart rate zone four is when we are going for a hard effort. Think HIT. Think interval based workouts. And zone five is your maximum effort. So all out sprints, anything where you feel like you are pushing to your maximum. So let's think about bringing these zones into your next training session, 'cause after all, it's the summer of sports, let's get moving.
